A preliminary grid map for 100×100 km grid squares based upon the FLORUS24 dataset ("Atlas of the Russian Flora" project). This dataset includes pre-cleaned GBIF data (including data from the Moscow Digital Herbarium), complete data from the Flora of Russia project on iNaturalist, as well as previously unpublished records by V.V. Chepinoga, D.V. Sandanov, O.V. Morozova, N.N. Lashchinsky, N.I. Makunina, A.Y. Korolyuk, and I.B. Kucherov. The total dataset on the flora of Russia after intensive cleaning includes 4.9M points (698,426 grid records of 10,018 species).

Maps of 9,885 species are now publicly available, including 355 maps of alien species (blue circles), 441 maps for cultivated species (blue circles), 148 hybrids (yellow circles) and 132 species of uncertain taxonomic status (orange circles). In addition, maps for 206 species are marked as taxonomic mixture (red circles).

This version of the map was generated by S.V. Dudov (Moscow State University) on 14 March 2024. The editors are actively cleaning maps and checking the original data. No new data has been uploaded since April 2022. We are working with a stable dataset. We have completed the first loop of map cleaning, but we are continuing the second one with checking the reliability of individual records and clarifying the boundaries of secondary ranges. The taxonomy is given against the Catalogue of Life (corresponds to the accepted names in the Moscow Digital Herbarium).
