Spiculae in nostra purpureae, antherae in sicci flavidae. Species haec, adhuc in regione arctica tantum inter 80° et 70°. l. b. indicata pro specie endemica ejus regionis aestimabatur. == Алтайские экземпляры по строению колосков и цветов не отличаются от экземпляров Парри, собранных на о. Мелвилле, но выше (от 25 до 33 см.) и крупнее их во всех частях (колоски достигают до 23 мм.); колоски у нашего р. пурпуровые, пыльники в сухом состоянии желтоватые. Этот вид до сих пор был известен только в арктической области между 80° и 70 ° с. ш. и считался для этой области эндемическим. Дата сбора по старому стилю: 17.7.1901.
