Восточноазиатский вид, распространен по югу Иркутской и Читинской областей и Бурятии до Приморья. На западе доходит до 54° с. ш. (пос. Усть-Уда, Иркутская обл.). За пределами СССР встречается на севере Монголии, в Китае, на п-ове Корея и в Японии. Растут на сухих лугах, в степях, по южным каменистым склонам в зарослях кустарников. С. Бубнова.
