1936, Сист. зам. Герб. Томск. ун-та 3 : 1; Цвелев, 1976, Злаки СССР : 407. — F. albifolia var. tschujensis (Reverd.) Serg. 1961, в Крылов, Фл. Зап. Сиб. 12 : 3119. Вид, характерный для каменистых и щебнистых местообитаний среднего и верхнего горных поясов южного Алтая и Монголии. Относительно более ксерофилен по сравнению с очень близким к нему широко распространенным в Восточной Сибири и Монголии видом F. nensis Drob., от которого отличается слабо развитыми краевыми склеренхимными тяжами в пластинках листьев.
