Сибири, в Хакассии и Туве. На севере доходит до 57-58 [...] с.ш. Издаваемые растения собраны у восточной границы распространения около 95 [...] в.д. Растет в полынно-злаковых и ковыльных степях, на солонцах, солонцеватых лугах, нередко является доминантом в ассоциации. С. Бубнова.
