Среди дальневосточных горцев издаваемый вид выделяется своеобразным распространением (только на юге Приморья), экологией (растет в поймах рек, обычно в чозенниках или среди ивняков) и фенологией. Указывается также для п-ова Корея и Сев.-Вост. Китая. Сведения о произрастании этого вида в Удском флористическом районе (Комаров, 1936) пока не подтвердились. Молодые побеги и листья (в мае - июне) могут использоваться в пищу. П. Горовой.
