Издан в 1993 г. 1847, Fl. Taimyr. Phaenog. : 29; Лозина-Лозинская, 1936, Фл. СССР 5 : 469ю Широко распространен в Арктике от п-ова Канин до Чукотки. Обычное растение на болотистых участках моховых и мохово-травянистых тундр, а также на галечниковых берегах водоемов. Особенно хорошо заметен во второй половине лета благодаря темной пурпуровой окраске всего растения. Растет группами, но больших зарослей не образует. А. Бородина.
