Сибирский таежный вид, широко распространенный в Сибири и на Дальнем Востоке, заходящий в Сев. Европу до Финляндии включительно, где изредка образует гибриды с N. Alba L. характеризующиеся промежуточными размерами цветков (5—7 см в диам.), светло-пурпурным рыльцем и округлым основанием чашечки. Л. Крупкина.
