Издаваемая серия растений представляет собой одну из многочисленных рас полиморфного комплекса G. affinis. Растения сходного облика отмечены в нескольких пунктах на побережьях Восточно-Сибирского и Чукотского морей и на о. Врангеля. Возможно, эта раса есть определенный экотип, сформировавшийся в условиях морских побережий. В. Петровский.
