Циркумполярный арктобореальный вид. На Ямале встречается повсеместно, но не обильно. Строго приурочен к болотным группировкам: сфагновым осоковым болотам, сфагновым буграм полигональных комплексов, реже осоково-моховым низинным болотам. О. Ребристая.
