Однолетнее сорное растение с коротким сроком вегетации (вторая половина мая - июнь). Широко распространено в Сибири, Монголии, Сред. Азии, Китае и на п-ове Корея. На советском Дальнем Востоке, встречается в басс. р. Амура. Произрастает по выгонаам, открытым склонам, сухим лугам, огородам, вдоль дорог. В. Старченко, Э. Бойко.
