Издаваемая серия растений чрезвычайно сходна с растениями B. pilosa, обильно встречающимися на о. Врангеля, но отличается значительно более короткими плодами от растений этого же вида, встречающихся в низовьях р. Оленек и в районе Таймырского озера (именно на базе таймырских растений Траутфеттер описал разновидность B. purpurascens var. longisiliquosa Trautv. l. c.). В. Петровский.
