Маньчж. 2): 443. Ареал ограничен югом Приморского края (Хасанский, Надеждинский и Уссурийский районы), севером п-ова Корея и юго-востоком Сев.-Вост. Китая. Растет в смешанных и лиственных лесах на скалистых или каменистых склонах сопок. От R. maximowiczii Kom. отличается отсутствием опушения на верхней стороне листьев. П. Горовой.
