Это горно-равнинный вид, распространенный от Тарбагатая до Хамар-Дабана, спускающийся по рр. Оби и Енисею до средней части равнинной тайги. Обычен во влажных горных районах с темнохвойной тайгой, отсутствует в сухих континентальных районах с преобладанием лиственничной тайги. Приуроченность к районам с повышенной влажностью объясняет разрывы в ареале - в Западном и Восточном Саяне и в Туве. В последнем районе тот вид встречен только в двух пунктах восточной части. В.
