Амфиберингийский арктический вид, изредка встречающийся в наиболее высоких горных массивах западной и центральной Чукотки. Селится преимущественно у водотоков или в сырых депрессиях седловин и горных террас. По-видимому, тяготеет к субстратам, увлажняемм грунтовыми водами, обогащенными основаниями. В. Петровский.
