Восточносибирский луговостепной вид, относящийся к восточноазиатско-североамериканской ветви секции Onobrychium Bunge. От близких видов — арктического А. pseudoadsurgens Jurtz. и западно-центральносибирского A. austrosibiricus Schischk. — отличается желтовато-белым (иногда грязно-белым с фиолетовым оттенком) венчиком. Обитает в луговых степях, на суходольных лугах, опушках, галечниках и залежах. А. Сытин.
