Прим. и Приам.: 230. В СССР встречается только на Дальнем Востоке и выделяются среди других дальневосточных представителей рода дизъюнктивностью ареала и экологией, произрастая на каменистых россыпях и скалах в Приморье и Приамурье. Сев. граница ареала достигает верховьев р. Правой Буреи и хребтов Селемджинский и Ям-Алинь в Хабаровском крае. Вне СССР распространен в Сев.-Вост. Китае и сев. части п-ова Корея. В секции Cinnamomea DC. выделяется особый род Korea Gorovoi et Pahkov (1976, Бюл. Гл. ботан. сада 100: 90). П. Горовой, Ю. Панков.
