О-в Сахалин, окр. г. Долинска. Юго-западные склоны у долины горной речки к востоку от города. На хорошо освещенных местах у опушки пройденного рубками пихтово-елово-березового леса. == Insula Sachalin. In viciniis opp. Dolinsk. Declivitates austro-occidentales apud. vallem rivi montani ad orientem ab oppido Dolinsk. Ad morginem silvae mixtae (Abies, Picea, Betula) collucate.

Распространен на Сахалине от южной оконечности острова по крайней мере до 51° с. ш. у западного побережья, но встречается не повсеместно. Детали распространения выяснены еще неполно вследствие очень раннего развития, а затем отмирания надземных частей растения, далающего его доступным для наблюдения только весною и в самом начале лета. Растет на лесных прогалинах, на богатой, хорошо дренированной почве. Развивается очень рано. В южны районах Сахалина цветет, в основном, в конце апреля - начале мая. А. Толмачев.
