Алт. и Томск. губ. : 618. Издаваемые растения отличаются от типового подвида наличием коронки у краевых семянок, опушением стеблей по всей длине или только в нижней половине, а также очертанием листьев, имеющих более выпуклые боковые края; кроме того, они зубчатые, а не глубокозубчатые или перистолопастные, как у subsp. vulgare. Ареал охватывает внетропические р-ны Евразии и Северной Америки; в местах заноса часто натурализируется. Культивируется как декоративное растение. В естественных ценозах произрастает на лугах, лесных полянах, в лесостепях и степях на прибрежных песках, галечниках, пустырях, по обочинам дорог. А. Луферов. 12.7.1904.
