Довольно изменчивый вид, распространенный в средней и южной Европе. К востоку от Урала был находим лишь в немногих пунктах Тобольск. губ. Издаваемое под этим № тобольское растение отличается от рязанского, изданного выше под № 671 и издаваемого вслед за ним пермского, несколько более густым опушением. И. Новопокровский.
