Дальневост. края 2: 706, табл. 213. Эндемик Маньчжурской флористической профинции. Распространен к востоку от горной цепи Большого Хингана до тихоокеанского побережья, включая сев. часть п-ова Корея. Обнаруживает значительное сходство с видом E. fischeriana Steud. (= E. pallasii Turcz. ex Ledeb.), распространенным в Забайкалье, но отличается от него формой листовых пластинок, отсутствием опушения на зрелых коробочках, цветом и размерами семян. Д. Басаргин.
