Прим. и Приам. : 254; Ворошилов, 1966, Фл. сов. Дальн. Вост. : 284. Издаваемое растение весьма близко японскому G. japonicum Franch. et Savat. и многими авторами относится в синонимы к последнему. Однако Е. Г. бобров (1949) считает, что японские и приморские растения представляют самостоятельные виды. На отличия японских (островных) и приморских (материковых) образцов указывал еще К. И. Максимович. Издаваемый вид G. sieboldii близок американским видам из группы G. richardsonii Mey. Растет по пологим склонам небольших сопок среди кустарников и на сухих лугах. К. Уланова, Г.
