Тюменская обл., п-ов Ямал, р. Лаптаяха, в 20 км юго-западнее пос. Мыс Каменный, разнотравно-моховые ивняки в долине ручья. == Prov. Tjumen, peninsula Jamal, fl. Laptajacha, 20 km ad austro-occidentem a pago Mys Kamenny, saliceta variiherboso-muscosa in valle rivuli.

Его ареал охватывает европейскую и западносибирскую Арктику от Малоземельской тундры на западе до верховьев Пясины на востоке, плато Путорана, таежное правобережье Енисея и горы Средней Азии и Южной Сибири. На Ямале герань встречается в подзоне южных тундр в зарослях ивняков и на луговых склонах. О. Ребристая.
