Евр. 10 : 297. Вид, распространенный в Северной Азии (Зап. и Вост. Сибирь, юг Дальнего Востока, Монголия, Япония, Китай) и Северной Америке (сев. районы). В Европе встречается лишь на Урале. На таком громадном пространстве выделяют географические и экологические расы, принимаемые различными авторами как отдельные виды или подвиды. Издаваемые растения из Восточной Сибири - типичные представители данного вида с линейно-шиловидными длинноостистыми листьями. Г. Кудряшова.
