I. 1. 173 (1899). От var. genuina Sasch. et Gr. (сравн. № 2686а) отличается не столько величиной всего растения и шириной листьев, сколько более густой метелкой со скученными короткими веточками в нижнем узле метелки, но последний признак не у всех распределенных здесь образцов одинаково хорошо выдержан и вообще эту разновидность невозможно строго отграничить от var. geuina.
