Бот. сада АН СССР 30: 775; Рожевиц, 1934, цит. соч.: 410. Циркумполярный арктический вид, по-видимому, имеющий гибридное происхождение и поэтому отличающийся значительным полиморфизмом. На Урале заходит на более высокие вершины Среднего Урала, а на Полярном и Северном Урале является относительно нередким растением. Издаваемые экземпляры принадлежат к наиболее обычной на севере Европы и в Сибири форме, в основном сходной с имеющимися в Гербарии Ботанического института АН СССР (LE) изотипами этого вида. Н.
