Издаваемые образцы относятся к карликовой, преимущественно северной форме P. maritima (Huds.) Parl., описанной впервые Фризом (Fries, l.c.), с многочисленными стелющимися вегетативными побегами. Эта форма очень близка к арктическому виду P. phryganodes (Trin.) Scribn. et Merr., отличаясь, однако, от него присутствием немногих волосков у основания нижней цветковой чешуи, шероховатой по килям верхней цветковой чешуей и расположением боковых вегетативных побегов в пазухах кроющих листьев (e P. phryganodes чешуи голые и гладкие, а боковые побеги сдвинуты к основанию следующего листа). P. maritima (Huds.) Parl. является характерным растением периодически заливаемых приливами морских побережий северной изападной Европы (с о-вами) и крайнего юга Гренландии. Изредка встречается также на средиземноморском побережье Европы и восточном побережье Сев. Америки, но, по-видимому, лишь как заносное растение. Н. Цвелев
