Образец относится к экологической форме C. canescens, которая приурочена к сфагновым сплавинам по берегам озер. Эта форма, широко распространенная на Карельском берегу Белого моря, отличается от типичной C. canescens удлиненным вертикальным корневищем и более узкими листьями, а также (обычно, но не всегда!) ─ гладким по краю носиком мешочка. Последней особенностью растения с приозерных сплавин напоминают C. lapponica O. F. Lang
