Carex contigua Hoppe. Другое очень распространенное название этой осоки - C. muricata L. не может быть за нею удержано по той причине, что Линней под своей C. muricata разумел не только вышеприведенный вид, но, как видно из приведенных им в Sp. pl. цитат, несколько других форм, выделенных впоследствии в самостоятельные виды, каковы C. divulsa Good, C. Pairaei F. Schutz, C. Leersii F. Schultz, и C. echinata Murr. (C. stellulata Good.), так что по названию C. contigua, под которым Hoppe очертил этот вид в Sturm's Deutschlands Flora (1835, Heft 61), должно быть отдано предпочтение перед коллективным Линнеевым видом C. muricata, в состав которого C. contigua входит лишь как часть.
