Саратовская обл. Выращено на питомнике в Саратове из семян, собранных в Астраханской обл. (Ергени. На солонцах близ оз. Ар-Нур). == Prov. Saratov. Specimina seminibus in prov. Astrachanij collecta (Ergeni, in salsis prope lac. Ar-Nur) et in horto experimentali Saratoviense educta.

Редкий вид, пока известный лишь из нескольких пунктов юго-востока Европейской части СССР и Западного Казахстана. От других видов секции Avicularia рода Polygonum отличается весьма резко рядом рпизнаков, в особенности уплощенными и часто несколько изогнутыми орешками. Ю. Григорьев.
