В синонимике этого вида мы следуем австрийским флористам (см. напр. Schedae ad fl. exicc. Austro-Hangar. VII, p. 37). В Index Kewensis, не без основания, старейшим синонимом признается S. altissimum L. Sp. pl. ed. 1. Действительно, описание этого вида у Линнея, имевшего его экземпляры из Астрахани (см.Richter. Codex, p. 639), очень подходит к издаваемому при сем растению, хотя Линнеем в Sp. pl. и цитируется наряду с тем в синонимах рисунок из V центурии Buxbaum'a, изображающий растение из Армении, которое надо отнести к S. columnae Jacq. Возможно, таким образом, что Линней смешивал эти два близкие вида, как смешивал их у нас Hoefft (Герб. Акад.) и Lessing, ошибочно показавшие S. columnae Jacq. в Курской и Казанской губ. (см. Ledeb. Fl. ross.). Любопытно, что S. altissimum L. совсем даже не упоминается во флорах Ледебура и Буассье (Fl. orient.), ни в Increm. Fl. ross. Траутфеттера, хотя, как видим, указан в областях этих флор Линнеем и показывался у нас еще Палласом (Itin. III, p. 596, 655). Д. Литв.
