Dupla. Ex. Herb. Inst. Bot. Ac. Sc. U.R.S.S. In hügeligen Gegenden unter Wachholder und anderen Gebüschen namentlich in den Gegenden des Kalksteinfelsenlandes sehr gemein; blühend im Juli, August. Die aromatische Wurzel war früher als Radix Bubonii lutei gegen Verschleimung und Sodbrennen gebräuchlich. Bisweilen warden mit den Blüthen die der Flores Arnicae verfälscht.
