Общий вид скорее, как у M. chamomilla L.: густо-растопыренно ветвистое р., корзинки мелкие, язычковые цветы не длинные 8 - 10 мм: цветоложе коническое, полое. Семянки преимущественно с 3 острыми гранями, поперечно-морщинистые, на стенке с 2 железистыми углублениями, наверху с коронкой; немногие семянки имеют 4 явственные грани, расположенных на внутренней стороне симметрично или несимметрично; и только отдельные семянки (очень мало) с 5-м неявственным ребром.
