Одна из наиболее ксерофитных, сильно опушенных форм, обитающих в сухих условиях, и в более приземистых, густо волосистых экземплярах с относительно мелкими корзинками представляющая естественный переход к типу P. achilleifolium MB., которые распространен в полупустынных и пустынных районах Прикаспия и среднего Казахстана.
