1964, Новости сист. высш. раст. 1964 : 258. Издаваемые экземпляры представляют собою изотипы (isotypi) первоцвета Валентины (название в честь коллектора В. К. Луканенковой). Вид этот внешне сходен c P. sibirica Jacq. (типичной, издана ранее под № 3747), но генетически, вероятно, ближе стоит к P. pamirica Fed. (издана ранее под № 3746). Кроме белого венчика, хорошим отличием P. valentinae Fed. может служить совершенно голая чашечка и обертка (без черных железистых волосков). Ан. Федоров. Isotypus.
