в Журн. инст. Бот. ВУАН, 3, стр. 82 (1935). — Гроссг. Опред. раст. Кавк. стр. 498 (1949). — Цвелев в Бот. мат. Герб. Бот. инст. АН СССР, XIX, стр. 424 (1959). Вид эндемичен для небольшого по площади низкогорного района Армянской ССР между Даралагезским и Варденисским хребтами. Ближайшие родственные ему виды C. Aucheriana DC. и C. Eugenii Sosn. встречаются в северо-восточной части Турции. Издаваемые экземпляры являются топотипами C. phaeopappoides Bordz. Н. Цвелев.
