Palla., in Mon. Jard. Tifl. XXI (1912) 22. Obs. Ab auctoribus antiquioribus cum P. flavescente (L.) Rchb. et P. globoso (All.) Rchb. comparatus, sed ab utroque diversissimus; ex E. Palla in affinitatem P. Hochstetteri (Nees et Krauss) Palla potius spectat, sed ab omni gredo secedit rhacheolis et fructibus angustissimis. Typus Kochians ex Imeretia descriptus. Примеч.: Растение тропического родства, хотя прежними авторами соединялось или сближалось то с P. flavescens (Ледебур), то с P. globosus (Meinshausen). По мнению E. Palla, описавшего это растение под именем P. Woronowii, родство его следует искать в группе P. Hochstetterii (Абиссиния) и близких ему видов. Довольно распространен на сырых песчаных почвах нзменной Колхиды в Аджаристане, Мингрелии и Имеретии. Ar.geogr.: Lazistania. - Reg. Caucas. (S.S.P.)
