1974, Бот. журн. 59, 11: 1605; она же, 1980, цит. соч. 65, 9: 1227. Встречается во многих районах Кавказа, но нечасто. Растет по верхней границе леса. 2n = 68. По листьям иногда путают с S. graeca (Spach) Lodd. ex Schauer и S. Kusnetzovii Zinserl. От обоих устойчиво отличается плодами с опадающим отгибом чашечки. Присоединение S. fedorovii к S. subfusca (Ledeb.) Boiss. противоречит цитологическим данным (у S. subfusca 2n = 34) морфологическим признакам, географии и экологии вида. Издаваемое растение собрано в тех же местах, что и паратип S. fedorovii. Т. Заиконникова
