♂ Дерево быстрорастущее, достигающее громадных размеров, туземцами называемое «ак-тал» т. е. «белый тал». == Arbor excelsa, nomen vernaculum «ak-tal».
Bull. Soc. bot. de France. T. 55, 653 (1908). A S. alba L. differt amentis crassioribus, densifloris, squamis sat longis, anguste lanceolatis nec non filamentis longioribus. P. Lackschewitz. Доде описал эту иву по культурным образцам, но упоминает, что видел ее в гербарии Парижского музея из Бухары (раст. A. Lehmann'а) и Туркестана (Capus). В герб. С.-Петерб. Ботанич. Сада имеются ее образцы, собранные В. Л. Комаровым по Зеравшану (Шинк и Фараб, 1893, ♂). П. Лакшевиц. Все с одного дерева. цв.
