Эта обычная в Европе звездчатка у Байкала имеет восточную границу распространения; на берегах Байкала она собрана у Мысовой (дер. Клюевка), у Лиственничного и на м. Котельниковском 55° с. ш. На восточном берегу Байкала и в Дауриях она не обнаружена; очень редка она и в Иркутской области, западнее Байкала, здесь всегда встречаясь лишь по сорным лугам близ поселков, будучи, очевидно, недавно занесенной.
